ATF 2010:
The future of a theater company

In 2006 ATF's Founders Martha Banta and Producing Director David Turner informed ATF's Board of Directors that they had made the difficult decision to leave the company they founded in 1993 following the summer 2007 season to focus on their family and careers in New York City.

With the announcement of our new Producing Artistic Director Mark Fleischer in July 2007, this transition process is now halfway over.  Mark will spend this winter working closely with David, Martha, and the ATF Board to learn about this company and our community, and prepare his first season for summer 2008.

Since last summer ATF's Board has layed the groundwork for this vital transition process, having established a Transition Advisory Committee (click here for members of the TAC) made up of leaders in our region who will provide feedback on the issues raised by this transition.  As well, ATF  launched ATF 2010, a fundraising campaign to raise at least $30,000/year for three years to provide for increased leadership salary at ATF, and this campaign is over two-thirds complete as of the announcement of Mark Fleischer as our new Producing Artistic Director.
