INTERNSHIPS:

PLEASE NOTE ALL INTERNSHIPS EXCEPT MARKETING AND PUBLIC
RELATIONS.
The Adirondack Theatre Festival's
professional internship program offers internships for 8-10
students and young theatre professionals each summer in administration and production. Please note ATF does not offer
performing internships.
We are searching for interns in each of the following
areas:

Administration (2
interns - contracts, box office, fundraising, company
management)

Marketing and Public Relations
-
Production Assistants
(2 interns, 1 to start May 26, 2008 as Asst.
stage manager for the first production)

Carpentry (1 intern)

Electrics (1
intern)

Sound (1 intern)

Wardrobe (1 intern)

Props (1 intern)
ATF Internships require a full-time commitment in Glens Falls/Lake George,
NY for June 2 - July 30, 2008 (
Administrative and Marketing Interns may start earlier in Glens Falls and
Production Assistants will start rehearsal in NYC May 27.
ATF interns are provided
housing volunteer positions and a small stipend of $200 is at
the conclusion of the commitment.

Interning for ATF
requires a full-time commitment for the months of June and
July (some positions may start earlier-see above).
There is no time for outside employment.

This is an intensive
professionally-streamed internship. While best efforts are
made to ensure that interns get time off there are no regularly scheduled days off each week.

STAFF: ATF
hires 9 person Production and Administrative Summer Staff. Most
staff will start May 26, 2008 and the salary range is $250-$650/wk
which includes housing. The 2008 Season will end on July
26. Experienced Theater Professionals

Please note that for the 2008 season all
positions have been filled. Thanks to all who
submitted resumes. Resumes for the 2008 season will be
accepted after January 1, 2009.
ACTORS:
ATF holds auditions in New York City for members of Actor's
Equity Association on a per show basis. Auditions are
usually held in late April or May and are advertised by Equity
and Backstage Magazine.
WRITERS:
Plays and Musicals come to our attention by Professional
Recommendations - we do not have any literary staff to handle
unsolicited submissions. Please feel free to inform us of
any readings/workshops/productions (especially in the NYC or
Chicago
regions) of a work you think might be appropriate for ATF by
emailing ATF@ATFestival.org
DIRECTORS & DESIGNERS:
Creative Staff are usually hired based on prior experience with
our Artistic Staff or the Staff of a particular play or musical.
